Hello, my name is Josefine Müller from Finegraphy. On a summer day of 2015, my friend handed me his professional camera before heading to an open air festival in Amsterdam. While there, I captured all the interesting and uniquely beautiful people that allowed me to do so. Asking their permission was a great way to break the ice and connect with strangers. I was infatuated with this new way to express myself and couldn’t wait to purchase my own camera, which I did immediately when I got home.

I continued photography by taking images for my sister’s clothing brand, who holds a master’s degree in fashion design. Her expertise and knowledge gave me great insights into the world of styling and helped me source outfits for my own shoots. My passion grew throughout each interaction moving forward.

I have worked with several artists, agency models, and actors; shooting modelling portfolio, as well as acting headshots, and brands & beauty; providing a professional product delivery for each of their respective trades.

Challenge wise, while there were many along the way, the pandemic was certainly one for the books. Stimulated by progress, I pivoted and invested that time in the Makeup Essentials Program at Blanche MacDonald. This new knowledge became an added value to my existing services through which I can now support my clients one step further. 

While life as a freelance artist can be quite isolating, mine has remained motivated by the amazing humans I’ve met and worked with throughout the years. Hoping to change this solo aspect, I started hosting collaborative photography events when I first arrived in Vancouver back in 2019. Since then, I have been organizing bi-weekly events for freelance/hobby photographers, aspiring models, and local artists to build a community and elevate each other.
